Magellanic penguins are here, Jumping and King, the latter is quite similar to the emperor but a little smaller. Yes, the Emperor are in the south, but there not.But that we will know the penguins Mar del Plata. Smart: the care “Fundación Aquarium” is not being abandoned to their fate, they feed them, care for them and also to clean oiled penguins rescued and returned to the sea.

Moni: as I said to Smart, the are pretty good, although I am not in favor of zoos / aquariums, etc..

As you know, Mar del Plata from January to March is one thing, and from March to December is another. Just turn off the fireworks from December 31, the invasion of tourists begins.

The origin and class of tourists is varied, there are visitors from the North, South and West (East not because it should be or sirens or African). But what is abundant at this time of year, the cannon fodder of the invasion of Mar del Plata, comes from Capital and Greater Buenos Aires.

No offense, I must say that any marplanauta born with allergies to Buenos Aires. Is that an overnight, we are overrun by people who, speaking plainly, are thought to have heard it all, can not enjoy a second without touching the horn, do not stop running around for the other and, as if this were not enough, do not stop criticizing Mar del Plata!

Because if sir, devalued tourist model post 2001, likes to say that Mar del Plata does not arrive or the heels of Buzios, Cancun, Punta or Miami.

It should be noted that this is the worst kind of tourist, because tourists are coming to Buenos Aires unless you create superior. Just yesterday, in my business (an Internet) appeared a tourist with his digital little camera, wanting to lower their photos. When cyber at least 3 people per day come to lower their photos, so it is a task that already have more than learned and is routine.

Mr. tourists took care of me had 500,000 instructions on how to use the camera, where it was to spend time pointing the USB plug, where it was to download the photos, which was to press the mouse button, etc.. etc. Because, of course, here in town do not know the cameras, what’s more, we think marplanautas photos steal your soul. And that is only 1 of the countless anecdotes like that any marplatense can count.

NOT everyone is like, and will relate other subfaunas turistescas. But the point is that after months of living in complete tranquility, not the lechon finished off the New Year and we have to put up with lances tens of thousands of maverick, what makes my city in a kind of yin-yang , enjoyable and hated, loved and hated at the same time. With this first tap the tourist worst possible opening this new section, only missing the obligatory question to the bloggers of the big city you … what kind of tourist is?

This great City of Mar del Plata is known as “the Happy City”. Within the summer, not only does it welcome millions of visitors from all over the country, but Mar del Plata also combines the beauty and charm of its natural resources using the infrastructure and services available, and using the hospitality of its individuals.

Located in the Province of Buenos Aires, it’s the most crucial seaside tourist center within the Republic of Argentina.

Mar del Plata has temperate climate with masses of warm and humid subtropical sea air and an average temperature of more than 22º C during the hottest month.

Besides an exceptional sea, Mar del Plata has cliffs, sand hills and vast sandy beaches ideal to enjoy summer walks, cycling or riding. Paragliding and first-time parachuting jumps are practiced within the air. Within the sea, nautical activities for example surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, SCUBA diving, motorboat and boat sailing and swimming stand out, though one from the sports chosen by visitors to “the Pearl from the Atlantic” is sport fishing, practiced both from the city piers and on boats leaving from its famous port. On that location, site visitors may watch sea lions and the routine of seamen that return with their catches everyday or taste all kinds of seafood and fish in the dozens of restaurants located within the area.

Mar del Plata has everything. Its cultural life is reminiscent from the City of Buenos Aires. The most outstanding attractions include Colón Square, Torreón del Monje, Los Troncos Neighborhood, the port and Punta Mogotes. At night, its pubs, discos, bingos and also the well-known Casino of Mar del Plata are ready to welcome the most demanding customers. The theaters in the city get crowded as the most outstanding plays are presented every season. The surroundings are also beautiful. Site visitors might access places for example Sierra de los Padres Lagoon, the beaches of nearby Chapadmalal or the hilly City of Balcarce.

Mar del Plata is the perfect combination for those who seek quietness and relax as well as the possibility of finding the constant hustle and bustle in each corner of town.
